Sunshine Community Support Services wasn’t created in a boardroom. It grew from real-life experience, raising a family, working alongside people who needed support, and seeing first-hand how the system can sometimes fall short of the people it is meant to serve.
We became a registered NDIS disability support provider before we supported our first participant. Not because we had to, but because it reflects who we are and the standard of care we believe every person deserves.
What We Believe
We got into this work because we saw how NDIS supports on the Sunshine Coast and in Gympie were being delivered, and we knew we could do better. These are the things we'll never compromise on:
Registered before we started. We went through the full NDIS registration process before supporting a single participant anywhere across the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Gympie and Fraser Coast regions. No shortcuts, no grey areas.
People over paperwork. Yes, compliance matters, and we take it seriously. But every form and every process exists to protect and serve real people. We never lose sight of that.
Honest and transparent. If we can help you, we'll tell you. If someone else is better placed to, we'll tell you that too. Families seeking disability support deserve honesty, not a sales pitch.
Local and present. We're not a call centre. We live and work in this community, from the Sunshine Coast through to Gympie and the Fraser Coast. When you reach out, you'll hear from someone who knows the region and genuinely wants to help.
A team we'd trust with our own families. Every disability support worker who joins us is chosen carefully, for their experience yes, but more importantly for their character.

Together
We started this journey as a team of two with big hearts and a clear purpose. Today we're proud to be joined by a small group of disability support workers who genuinely chose this work, people who share our belief that every NDIS participant on the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Gympie, and the Fraser Coast deserves someone who actually shows up, pays attention, and cares about their quality of life.
We'd rather have a small team we can vouch for completely than a large one we can't.
We're local. We're registered. And we're in this for the right reasons.
