At Sunshine Community Support Services, we believe Supported Independent Living should feel like home.
Our SIL supports are designed around each person, their needs, routines, interests, goals and the things that are important to them. We provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where participants can build independence, develop everyday living skills and be actively involved in their home and community across the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Mary Valley, Gympie and Fraser Coast regions.
As a Registered NDIS Provider, our experienced local team provides personalised support while encouraging choice, independence and meaningful participation in everyday life.
Our SIL Support
Depending on individual needs and funding, support may include:
- 24/7 support, including overnight assistance where required
- Local team of experienced and trained staff
- Personal care and daily routines
- Cooking, meal planning and meal preparation
- Household tasks, cleaning and laundry
- Medication support
- Developing everyday living skills
- Building confidence and independence at home
- Community access and participation
- Shopping, appointments and local activities
- Support to develop and maintain social connections
- Establishing meaningful routines based around individual interests and goals
More Than a House
We want the people we support to have a genuine sense of belonging and ownership within their home.
Participants are encouraged to be involved in everyday decisions, from choosing meals and activities to helping around the house, spending time in the garden, enjoying hobbies or heading out into the community. We take the time to understand each participant and create routines that work for them.
